Built around
one standard
What does one of one mean here?
No two heads grow the same way, so no two cuts leave this shop the same. Your barber builds each cut around your growth pattern, your face and your morning routine instead of pulling a shape off a chart. The name is the promise: the cut you leave with exists once, on you.
That approach costs time. We book longer sittings than most shops, keep the consultation at the start of each visit, and hold your notes so the next cut starts where the last one ended.
How do barbers earn a chair?
New barbers shadow the senior chairs before they touch a paying head. They cut on models until their fades hold up under shop lights and their scissor work survives a second opinion, and they keep training after they go on the floor. A cut that needs a second pair of eyes gets one, without the client asking.
Hiring works the same way. We take barbers who treat the trade as a craft, then hold them to the shop's finish: clean blends, deliberate lines, and a shape the client can maintain between visits.
The room
The shop is open and bright, with room between the chairs and space to move. We keep it clean and in order without making a fuss about it.
Music plays at a level you can talk over. People wait, catch up with their barber and take their time in the chair. Come in from work or from the gym, either one fits.
